Getting to Know Your Iguana Sales Staff

Iguana has a top notch sales staff at the Lake and we want you to get to know them.  The best boat dealership at the Lake of the Ozarks has an atmosphere that’s not only fun for the staff ut exciting for the customers as well. We've asked some of our sales team to introduce themselves so all of our customers can get a feel for the people that make us the best in boat sales at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Austin French - Sales Staff

Austin worked for Iguana in the rental division before moving to the boat sales side of Iguana. Originally born in Iowa, Austin moved to Missouri and then the Lake after going to college at Northwest Missouri State University.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at Iguana as a boat salesman?

A: The favorite part of my job is when I find the perfect boat for someone and get to experience their excitement during the test drive.

Q: What do you think your customers should know?

A: Our goal is to make sure that every customer has an enjoyable buying experience, whether it's a jet ski or a yacht.

Steve Hardway - Sales Staff

Steve was practically born on the water. He's been boating all his life and is into outdoor activities along with the lake life.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I enjoy bicycling, canoeing, archery, woodworking, and of course, boating.

Q: What should customers at Iguana know about the sales team?

A: They should know how much we care for boating and their enjoyment on the water. Iguana will help them with the variety of fun, relaxing, and memorable moments you can have on the water as well. 

Q: Which one of Iguana's brands do you prefer?

A: Hurricane boats are one of my favorites!

Q: What is the best thing about being on the Lake?

A: I love relaxing as the boat rocks.

Jacob Calhoun - Sales Staff

Jacob is a homegrown Missourian. He grew up in Kansas City and quickly found his way down to Lake of the Ozarks. When asked how he became involved with Iguana Boat Sales he answered, "I have always loved the boating industry, and when the opportunity arose to work for the best boat dealership at the lake, that made my decision easy."

Q: What is your favorite thing about your job?

A: The most rewarding part of my job is hearing the stories and how much fun my clients have on the boats they have purchased.

Q: What is your favorite pastime here at the Lake of the Ozarks?

A: I’m an avid fisherman; I go out and fish every chance I get. I also golf and love to play poker.

Q: What should customers know walking into Iguana's Showroom?

A: Buying a boat should be fun. Our goal here is to have fun, and we go out of our way to make sure every one of our clients has an exceptional experience.

Q: Do you have a preferred brand that Iguana sells?

A: Cruisers Yachts is really impressive. The quality, style, and outside the box designs definitely deserve a look from anyone looking to get into a boat. Cruisers Yachts is the best, whether it’s a 20ft open bow or a 60ft yacht.

Q: Do you have a preferred vacation destination?

A: I’ve always wanted to take a trip to lake El Salto in Mexico. I hear the fishing is incredible!
