January 4th-7th is like Christmas all over again for boaters! That’s right, that’s the weekend of the Overland Park Boat Show. The Overland Park Boat Show is the biggest boat show in the Kansas City area. The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association (LOMDA) brings the best marine dealers at the Lake of the Ozarks to the heart of Kansas City. What better way to start the new year than at one of the best boat shows? Lucky for you, the best boat dealership at the Lake of the Ozarks will be a vendor at the show. The Overland Park Boat Show

This is the premiere show for boating enthusiasts all over the Midwest. See the latest in 2018 cruisers, runabouts, performance boats, tritoons, ski boats, personal watercraft, docks, lifts, and all boating accessories at Kansas City’s largest boat show.

The Overland Park Boat Show will be held at the Overland Park Convention Center from January 4th, 2018 to January 7th, 2018. The hours are:

Adults - $9.00

Children Age 6-12 - $5.00

Children 5 & Under – Free

Your admission to the boat show gives back to the community. $1.00 of each paid Adult admission is donated to Kids’ Harbor Child Advocacy Center.

The best time to buy a boat is during the off-season, which happens to coincide with boat show season! If you are thinking of buying a boat at the Lake of the Ozarks, it is definitely wise to visit a few shows before making your purchase. Boat shows provide great opportunities for boaters to get special deals and incentive on new boats, as well as opportunities to meet boat dealers and manufacturers. However, if you aren't quite ready to purchase a new boat, you can just take it all in and have fun! For those who are ready to take the plunge, Iguana Boat Sales offers a few tips to make the best of your boat show experience.

1. Do Your Homework

Boat shows are a great way to start your boat buying journey. When you visit a boat show, you have the opportunity to try many different boats.  In addition, many times you can also get great deals.
